We held the ETHIOPIA MILLENNIUM IN JAPAN on September 9th,2007 in Tokyo, Japan.
More than 200 people joined the seminar and 450 people joined celebrations.
We had a great time with many Ethiopians, Japanese and the other foreigners who live in Japan.
2007年9月9日（日）ETHIOPIA MILLENNIUM IN JAPANが開催されました。
ミレニアム・セミナーには約200名、ミレニアム・ナイトには約450名のゲストが集い、本国より遠く離れた日本で、エチオピアのミレニアムを祝いました。
The hall decorated by Over 1000 beautiful roses from Ethiopia.
After the celebration we gave the guests these roses.
会場は、エチオピアより届いたばかりの1000本にも及ぶ美しいバラに彩られ、準備も万端です。
このバラは、ミレニアム・ナイト終了後、ゲストの皆さまへのお土産として配られました。

記念イベントは、モカ・エチオピア・ダンスグループによるエチオピア民族舞踊で幕を開けました。
KUSUNOKI-REN performed "AWA-ODORI", one of the popular Japanese folk dance.
特別ゲストとしてお招きした大田区役所くすのき連による阿波踊り演舞は圧巻です。
Mocha Ethiopia Dance group collaborated with"AWA-ODORI".
It was an amazing collaboration that no one had experienced.
見事な阿波踊りの演舞の後、エチオピア・グラゲ民族のステップと良く似た阿波踊りのステップを練習し、夢のコラボレーションが遂に実現！

And we enjoyed Ethiopian Quiz.
エチオピア人会プレゼンツのスペシャル・プログラムでは、ラヘルさんによる詩の朗読とクイズ大会で盛り上がりました。
We performed the ESKESTA(one of the popular Ethiopian folk dance.) together with the film of Ethiopian National Theatre's dancers.
続いてエチオピア国立劇場からの贈り物、初心者用ウスクスタ（エチオピア北部アムハラ民族の踊り）のフィルムに合わせ、ゲストとともにエチオピアおダンスを楽しみます。
Finally, everybody danced together.
It would be unforgettable memory for all participants.
最後には、会場に詰め掛けたゲスト全員が国籍の別なくダンスを楽しみました。
ETHIOPIA MILLENNIUM IN JAPANにご参加の皆さまにとって忘れ得ぬ想い出の夜になったことと思います。
